CRISS is a network of current and soon-to-be users of Centricity RIS-IC or IDXrad products and services. The purpose of the group is to promote open communication between members and GE Healthcare to improve the quality and efficiency of the GE Healthcare radiology information systems. The user group is also used as a method for IDXrad and Centricity RIS-IC users to agree upon prioritization, specification, and delivery dates of "product" enhancements and upgrades.

Network with your fellow radiology and imaging system managers, administrators and key personnel. This is one of the most crucial elements in today’s environment. Get insight into how other radiology departments operate and lessen your learning curve. Have a problem you just can’t figure out...here is a wonderful opportunity to hear what others have done in the same situations.

This is an excellent communication tool for discussions regarding all things Centricity RIS-IC or IDXrad related. Being a CRISS member provides the option to sign up for the email list serve. You can share ideas on a real-time basis and have another opportunity for GE to hear directly from users about their needs. GE does not communicate directly through this list serve, but they do see the messages and conversations, which helps all user voices be heard.

CRISS members periodically receive SIIM News. This Society newsletter, published quarterly, contains feature articles, case studies, educational content, product information, and industry trends, in addition to Society and SIIM Annual Meeting news.

GE attends most all CRISS meetings. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of change and improvement. Be part of one voice with more volume. Communicate your concerns in an open-minded environment. Every voice makes a difference. Participate in 3rd party vendor sessions where you may need assistance from a group in mediating issues (dictation systems, report writers, PACS and hardware vendors).

SIIM is our parent organization and has a long-term relationship with this product. CRISS holds their annual meeting at SIIM.

CRISS institutions that are also SIIM institutional members receive a 50% annual discount on CRISS membership dues.

The annual CRISS educational user group meeting, held in conjunction with the SIIM Annual Meeting, affords CRISS members the opportunity to earn CEUs. Further maximize your CRISS membership experience by taking advantage of all the SIIM Annual Meeting educational offerings, and earn additional CEUs. CEUs are awarded by ASRT.
